nPOD Investigators are encouraged to submit abstracts for research conducted using nPOD resources.

The nPOD 13th Annual Scientific Meeting will be a virtual event held on February 22-23, 2021. This year, there will be two abstract submission deadlines – one deadline to be considered for an oral presentation, and another deadline for poster presentations.

  • Oral Presentation Submission Deadline: Monday, December 7, 2020, at 8:00 am ET US
  • Poster Presentation Submission Deadline: Friday, January 15, 2021, at 8:00 am ET US

Applicants will be notified whether their abstract is selected for an oral presentation by Friday, December 18, 2020, at 5:00 pm ET US. All abstracts that are not selected for an oral presentation and abstracts submitted between the December and January deadlines will automatically be accepted for a poster presentation.

Part of nPOD’s mission is to generate a comprehensive analysis of type 1 diabetes, which is enhanced through Investigator collaboration. All abstracts accepted for poster and/or oral presentation during the 2021 nPOD Annual Meeting will automatically be published on the nPOD website. By submitting your abstract, you agree that it can be published as described.

If you have any questions about the abstract submission process, please contact nPOD Investigator Coordinator, Gina Aulisio, at gaulisio@ufl.edu.
