nPOD Standard Operating Procedures

The nPOD Standard Operating Procedures are available to all nPOD investigators and partners in PDF format. These procedures are approved by the nPOD executive committee. A brief description of each procedure or protocol is provided for your convenience below. If you have any questions about any of the information included in these documents, please contact the nPOD administrative core.

nPOD1: Shipping and Handling Procedures PDF

The purpose of this document is to serve as a guide by which donor tissue, including pancreas, spleen, duodenum, and peripheral blood samples, are shipped to the nPOD Organ Procurement and Pathology Core (OPPC) from National Disease Resource Interchange (NDRI) or Organ Procurement Organizations. It will also serve as a guide for shipping and delivery of tissue to nPOD investigators from the OPPC.

nPOD2: Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria for nPOD Donors PDF

The purpose of this document is to define the current nPOD donor groups and provide the inclusion and exclusion criteria for each group.
